BullNotes Privacy Policy

BullNotes is a Chrome extension that analyzes finance videos on YouTube to extract stock tickers, sentiment, and signals. This policy explains what information the extension handles, how it is used, and who processes it. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we handle

• Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and a unique account identifier. If you use BullNotes without signing in, we create an anonymous account identifier instead. We never receive your Google password.
• Usage data. We keep a monthly count of how many analyses you have run, tied to your account identifier, in order to enforce free and paid plan limits.
• Subscription information. For paid plans we store your plan tier and a Stripe customer identifier. Payment card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout page and are never seen or stored by BullNotes.
• Video content for analysis. When you run an analysis, the transcript of the YouTube video you are watching is sent to our processing service to extract tickers and sentiment. The resulting analysis, along with the video identifier, may be cached so that the same video does not need to be re-analyzed.
• Local data. Your session, cached analyses, and usage count are also stored locally in your browser.

Service providers

We use the following providers strictly to operate BullNotes:

• Anthropic — processes video transcripts to generate the analysis.
• Supabase — authentication, database, and backend functions.
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
• Cloudflare, Yahoo Finance, and Finnhub — live price and symbol lookups. Only ticker symbols and company names are sent for these lookups; no personal information is shared.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use or transfer your information for purposes unrelated to BullNotes.
• We do not use your information to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
• We do not show ads or build advertising profiles.

Data retention

• Cached video analyses expire after about 7 days.
• Usage counts are kept per calendar month.
• Account and subscription records are kept while your account is active.

Your choices

• You can use BullNotes without an account (with a lower free limit).
• You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from the extension's "Manage subscription" link.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
